Thank you to our good friends at Gold Country for taking care of these three orphaned bear cubs from Lake Tahoe. Orphaned when their mother was captured and sent to Colorado to be permanently held captive in a sanctuary after 'foraging' in Tahoe houses. We were devastated when the cubs were orphaned and their Mama's freedom was taken away..... But to have Gold Country rush to the rescue and allow these three beautiful babes a great chance to be wild and free again was amazing. We hope the final stages of the new cub enclosure will soon be completed, with help from generous donors everywhere, as there is already another very small cub from this year who needs Gold Country's help. Good video. I never got to see what happened with these bears. Glad to find this video to find out. Glad to see you tracked them. Wish you could have done that for "Lava Bob". I wonder what happened to them? Did they thrive back in the wild? The Dixie fire was horrendous. Hopefully this was another good success story. I don't think anybody could do much more to help these animals. I've been trying to encourage helping Canada with their current wildfire situation that sounds much like the Dixie fire, bad. I wonder if it's possible you folks could assist, too? Maybe send a triage team- Thanks again for all your hard work.

What wonderful artists we have in the world. My favorites are all the ones that used traditional mediums like water colors, pen/pencil, crayon, pastels etc. Digital is fine but I am old school I guess. Beautiful work by all. I am just glad I didn't have to pick a winner not sure I could have. Hope you turn these into t-shirts🌷

Amazing fantastic superlative work & love done by all. Gold Country is just THE best place in the Placer county and surrounding area when it comes to rescuing and rehabbing wildlife. I loved it when I lived in Placer county cuz I always knew there was help and great information for any critter we came in contact with. From hawks to owls to deer to raccoons. Had it not been for Gold Countries very knowledgeable people 3 orphaned raccoons "given" to my husband by their mom days before she passed would have never lived. He was told what they needed for food and for how long until they were old enough to truly make it on their own, which they did successfully & were not human imprinted. He was just their food support. Then there was the Redbreasted Woodpecker who hit the window so hard & broke it's beak so bad the vet didn't think it would regrow. The wonderful rehabber didn't give up, the beak finally grew back and we got to witness the release. An amazing group of very dedicated people. Some of our planets true heroes to wildlife🌷

In my experience with GCW they do their best to release the animals including birds back into the area from whence they came unless there are reasons they cannot go back to that area, like not having viable habitat to be able to thrive in. I would imagine in the case of the bears their release will be investigated so they go to an area with ample food & the best chance of survival success. GCW is the BEST group of people. As a resource for wildlife they are top notch and the volunteers are amazingly dedicated wonderful group of humans your likely to find. We are Blessed to have GCW in our area. So fortunate.

Will the sisters be released together? Will other bears be released together also?

So that's how I grew

I found a bird outside because of the havy rain and wind it fall of and the nest is also destroyed and i don't know which species it is... i wanna help the bird what can i do..... i think it might be the baby owl and its 1 week older but I'm not sure
